We at RECC believe that children and their families benefit from a high quality early childhood program. We feel that there is a critical link between a child’s early experiences and success later in life.

Our program is based on the belief that children need to play and time to experience all that life has to offer. Teaching is the art of facilitating and encouraging the continued growth and exploration of the young child. Projects are planned, yet responsive to individual needs and group dynamics. Opportunities are provided for children to take responsibility, make decisions, and learn through play with their peers.

Children’s positive feelings and promotion of their self-worth are the cornerstone to our early childhood program. Cultural experiences and ethnic values will be respected and implemented into our daily program.

Our program is designed to help children acquire the skills, knowledge, and behaviors to facilitate their optimum physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. We believe that children respond and imitate adult and child role models. We believe that children need to experience hands-on to retain the newly acquired knowledge. We attempt to provide a balance of language, social, fine motor, and gross motor activities.
