We encourage parent involvement.  Although most of our parents are working during the day, there are many ways for parents to be part of their child's program, and we believe that communication is the key. 

RECC has an open-door policy and we encourage parents during the day if they can to stop in.  We also encourage parent participation for our field trips and special classroom activities.  

RECC organizes several activities throughout the year to strenghten the link between home and school.  We arrange for Fall and Spring  Parent-Teacher Conferences; a Fall Family Festival with Moonbouncer, pumpkin carving and decorating, and cookie decorating; and a Preschool/Pre-K End of the Year Ceremony and Recognition, where the children sing and receive certificates.

We also have an active  Parent Representative Group, where volunteer parents attend monthly meetings, and offer support, suggestions, and feedback to assist in constantly improving the program.  The Parent Representative Group also organizes several activities thoughout the year, including a Family Bowling Day and a Park Picnic Day.
